Prayer is the greatest gift that you can offer a loved one who has passed away. The National Shrine invites you to honor the memory of a dearly departed family member or friend with a Perpetual Enrollment in the Shrine Prayer Guild.

The elegant enrollment cards serve as comfort and encouragement for the bereaved, and as an expression of heartfelt sympathy and hope in times of grief. Enrollment cards also provide the opportunity to let your loved ones know that those enrolled in the Shrine Prayer Guild are forever in your heart and perpetually in our prayers here at the National Shrine.

Spiritual Benefits of the Shrine Prayer Guild

Those enrolled in the Shrine Prayer Guild will receive the following spiritual benefits:

Enrollees will be prayed for during the Prayer Guild Novena of Masses offered on the last nine days of every month
Enrollees will be included in the Shrine Prayer Guild Members’ Mass held on the tenth day of every month
Enrollees will be remembered in the daily Rosary at Mary’s Shrine
Additionally, dearly departed enrollees in the Shrine Prayer Guild are remembered in Mass each day throughout the month of November

The loved ones of those who are enrolled will receive a beautiful customized Shrine Prayer Guild enrollment folder, with a choice of either the Mother of Sorrows, the Mother of Perpetual Help, or the Cherry Blossom card.

By enrolling an individual in the Shrine Prayer Guild, you too become a Guild Member and will enjoy all the spiritual benefits of those enrolled.

The suggested offering for this enrollment is $50.00, which includes shipping and handling.
